Every once in a while I am asked what my vision is when I take photos. More often than not, I mumble an answer. Not because I don't have a process but rather I question whether or not people really want to listen to the long version of what I think when I take a picture. It's more than just posing someone with their feet this way and looking that way, those steps are kind of just a way to get people moving and relaxing them. For me it's all finding a connection, a bond between people and telling that story. And if it's just one person, you take the time to find the different sides of themselves. Those those photos are the photos with soul. They have a story, a life inside of them.... and not to sound stuffy or anything, but that is the difference between a picture and art. I always aim for the latter.
Congratulations, Angie and Troy on your beautiful little Aubrey!
