These two little ladies came to see me Friday afternoon- when their mom told me that she usually prefers black and white to color and loves the serious faces of her kids..... I almost told her that she's my new best friend.
These first three photos were taken in natural light.... I was able to get some really nice light in their eyes from my window.
Then I set up my lights.
Have I ever mentioned how important it is to get a picture of you and your babies? It's important- you'll never regret doing it... and having that image will be priceless to you and to your baby forever. Have I convinced you yet? Now go and hand your camera off to your neighbor.... or I can do it. :)

That little girl in the bottom picture is so cute! And it's funny because I just mentioned to Paul that I do not have any pictures with my baby.

I understand about the not smiling. I think you get their most natural looks if they aren't neccessarily smiling. Sometimes the crying ones are so cute- and I have realized the pictures mom's really like later, years later after their kid has grown up is the one of them crying or the self-cut hair, or the big scab. they stand out from the rest, and you can always remember the story behind the photo.
